And everyone was at it: religious leaders, good and bad rulers, political agitators, self promoters and professional marketeers.The three hundred examples reproduced in the book are well selected, well reproduced and well laid out with just the right amount of accompanying text: factual and to the point.This is one of those rare things: a work that serves as an academic reference book, interesting reading for the lay reader, and a coffee table book all at the same time. Highly recommended. One might even say Moorish.
Moore does a great job of presenting material with academic depth in an engaging way, but without watering it down––the history of the modern world, through a focus on propaganda. Love the selected art and the analysis.
