I like the Vive Le Color! books for quick coloring projects with gel pens, pastels, and markers. I rarely use colored pencils with these because in most cases the details are too tiny to really get into with my pencils. The paper is good. The pages pull easily out of the book. All the images are one sided. The book itself isn't extremely study because of the glue binding but if you know that upfront you can just keep that in mind when using the book.If you have fine motor skill issues this isn't the book for you.I will add pictures to this review as I complete them.

Ah I love the thicker paper on this. I can even use watercolor. Gel pens and markers are great too. There's lots of fine lines but it's not hard to do and the patterns are so relaxing rather than worrying about shading this or making something look realistic I can just focus on what colors might look pretty together. I'm one of those people who likes these better than crosswords or sudoku for passing time or keeping my hands occupied when waiting. So relaxing and low pressure!

My problem with this book is that many of the designs are not properly edited. About half the book is designs that have “flaws” like areas that should obviously be welded together. Yes you can just color them the same, but that doesn’t get rid of horrible lines within the designs!I generally love this brand of coloring books. This one is the only one I’ve had any issue with. But if you like your designs perfect, skip this one, it will drive you nuts!

Images not printed well, some of the images are half printed with darker ink and half printed with lighter ink. Also images gave tiny details which are hard to color. Images are not very interesting either.

Fun set to color - being that it's abstract I feel free to go wild with colors versus nature designs where I tend to think in terms of nature's color scheme. Relaxing

Great mandalas. If you like coloring mandalas, its perfect.

Like this book alot. I keep ordering them...I plan on giving the pictures I have painted (with brush markers) to Alzeheimers patients to enjoy. 300 of them went to Meals on Wheels recipients. Here are another 100 or more ready to go to an Alzeheimers house.
