Bought this as a birthday gift for my childhood bestie (she retired 2 1/2 years ago). Her birthday is two months away. As I look through this beautiful book I am soooo tempted to keep it !

This book goes well beyond the typical guidebook, offering the author's insights to the facilities and collections which are included. The personal tone the author utilizes makes you feel as if you're on a personally guided tour of the places. Although I have visited many of the better-known places, the book presents fresh "takes" on them, so, in my experience, any reader would benefit from revisiting such destinations. There are lots of interesting, out-of-the-way places included and these are definitely intriguing and will figure in my future travel plans. There are several suggested itineraries and these are helpful in getting a sense of the geographical distribution of the sites and the travel requirements involved. I'd rather not give any stars since this title is a complete lie. Dr. Sedi's diet is plant based and more strict than the best vegan diet. If your looking to follow his diet and beliefs this will not assist you. You absolutely can not detox with meat and starches in your diet. This book completely ignores that. Outside of the animal products listed there are still a number of other ingredients that go against his teachings, like carrots, pineapple, oatmeal, and almond milk. It's very clear that this person just wants to make money by using Dr. Sebi's good name.

These recipes use spinach, an acid according to Dr. Sebi; Carrots, a hybrid and not used according to Dr. Sebi and other dietary errors if you want to eat Dr.Debo’s way. They Should not even mention Dr.Sebi at all!

Cute book. But this is not even close to the teachings of Dr. Sebi. This contains adding meat to your diet and items that are not on the Sebi approved list.

Used Dr. Sebi name but doesn't follow his methodology. This book is a fraud. I didn't want to give 1 star...had to..really 0 stars!!

I gave 5 stars because I had no clue where to start and in this book it tells you everything you need to know on how to start your detox it gives you the time in which you should consume your meals and shakes

Great story and I do recommend it, IF you don't mind homosexuality. I don't, in fact I have a very open mind. However by the time I reached chapter 43 I was tired of the shove it down the throat attitude of the author and felt the need to write a review. For example: instead of saying, "your neighbors" or "the couple that lives next door" the author writes, "The older gay couple saw you carry Derrick to the hospital"...what difference does it make what the neighbors sexuality is. NONE. And there are other examples of this as well, where the sexuality of the character is stressed when it has no bearing on the scene. This book tends to be more of a political statement than an apocalyptic novel. One character is solidly in the closet and we hear of his struggles, one is an older man who hasn't been able to rebound from a breakup (again Gay is stressed and not warranted); another was fired because of her sexuality. Enough already, the reader gets it, Gay is hard and no one knows the struggle. As I said I do recommend it and I'm planning on finishing the series, but at a much slower pace as I get fed up reading the sob story between the real "nail biter". Would've given it 5 stars if I hadn't run across that "final straw" sentence that left me feeling "Geez, enough already". At the end of the series perhaps I'll have a different opinion, but as of chapter 43 this is it.

Wow, this story has kept me going even when I have stuff to do. I usually don't love any extra non zombie twists, but they work beautifully within the tapestry of the story. Very full and flushed out. Also, it's about time to have an end of world book from this perspective! Is the next one out yet? Lolol

But I like to read fictional desaster books and the Harbinger series is really covers any different desaster I would never want to be in but I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Lots of new developments in this installment. Lots of new drama. I dig this story line and can hardly wait for the next book.

Book 6 is the best of the series, so far. Interesting, intrigueing, a great read and I hope that there are more to come. Thank you.

This book is a waste of money. All examples are in assembler and most if it is the author just telling you how there are all these things you can do with the PIC and very little on how to actually do it. If you buy and read this book, you will be in pretty much the same place you would be if you have never seen it.

This book is a good book for a beginner to learn how to interface PIC microcontroller with hardware peripherals. I love it although there are not so many application examples and technical details of a PIC MCU. Many technical details of a PIC MCU can be found in related datasheet which can be downloaded on Microchip website. Technical details of different PIC MCUs used to vary but the working principle is the same. Even if you do not have Proteus VSM, using this book with a PICDEM development kit or the new released curiosity board with PIC16F1619 and a free MPLAB X IDE which can be downloaded on Microchip website, you can practice with ASM coding.

I own the earlier version of this book and was delighted to see the new release. The ONLY thing keeping this from 5 stars is the Description once again left out the fact that the book is based on the Proteus development program. This is NOT a problem, since Proteus allows a FREE DOWNLOAD of their fantastic and comprehensive schematic capture, circuit simulation (PIC16F included free) , layout, and more; Integrated-do-everything-package. No, I have zero affiliation with LabCenter or their staff. Buying Proteus is also a bargain and of course allows you to simulate your whole prototype PCB & Code in the computer, skipping the time & expense of Rev0.xx iterations, yes really. The free version and the examples in the book allow you to reference the extensive built in library of, say, a I2C temperature IC; DS1820 as simulate the whole thing including code (free version won't save your work though). You can then take that code and circuit learning and apply it directly into your MPLAB or other suite as you please. Using the built-in SIne Wave generators and O-Scope, you can tweak you ADC-DAC code to perfect psuedo-analog with confidence. Proteus is well along the way to building a single suite that "does it all" and eliminates PCB prototypes. This book, is an excellent bridge to bring your work into that future, really. Proteus has many working SAMPLES built-in; try it, then buy this book. Cheers!

Glad I got this book on loan from my library and didn't buy it. I hoped it would have some info on interfacing a thermocouple to a uC. The book just gave passing mention of thermocouples and that was it. No circuits, nothing. I thumbed through a few other chapters and there just seemed to be mostly generic info and the occasional vague schematic. Not exactly the interfacing cookbook I was hoping for. A thin book in every sense of the word.
