About the Author
Alan Robert is the creator of several critically-acclaimed graphic novels: Wire Hangers, Crawl to Me (in development to become a motion picture), Killogy, The Shunned One (2017), and The Beauty of Horror, a bestselling series of horror-themed adult coloring books. Robert is also well known as the bassist/songwriter for the hard rock group Life of Agony for over two decades. A Brooklyn native, Alan's journey as a comic book creator began at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he attended on a scholarship and studied cartooning under legendary Thor comic writer/artist Walt Simonson.

By far this is the best installment of Beauty of Horror! I am blown away by the amazing illustrations and can't choose which one I want to do first. They are ALL amazing! Alan Robert has really out done himself. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
If your a fan of horror, Halloween and creepiness then you will enjoy the pictures in this book.
OMG!!! I LOVE THIS EDITION OF THE BEAUTY OF HORROR COLORING BOOKS. I THINK THIS IS MY FAVORITE ONE. I LOVE THE CREEPY ARTWORK AND WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME COLORING IN THIS BOOK. THE PAGES ARE A NICE THICKNESS AND YOU COULD PROBABLY USE WATER BASED MARKERS AS LONG AS YOU DON'T COLOR OVER AND OVER. ALCOHOL BASED MARKERS WILL GO THRU AND RUIN THE IMAGES ON THE BACK OF THE PAGE . IT TAKES COLORED PENCILS WELL THERE ARE VERY DETAILED IMAGES AS WELL AS MORE SIMPLE ONES. A GREAT JOB ON THIS BOOK AND I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE CHRISTMAS BOOK COMES OUT IN OCTOBER TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION
I love this series by Alan!!! It is a true horror coloring book and if you are scared of clowns... yep .. this book will do it! I bought this third book first but as soon as I had it in my hands I quickly bought the other 2 and preordered the Christmas edition. I am addicted. The paper in this book is also very good for either pencils or water based markers and I even tried Inktense on the color palette page which is also a AWESOME idea.. there are not very many books in the adult coloring world that gives you a few pages for your “sinister combosâ€. Just an all around great book and great quality. I am eagerly awaiting my other two books to be delivered tomorrow and I will be posting my thoughts and review on them! Highly recommend! The only thing I didn’t like was how big of a background some of the pages have because I am terrible at creating them but that’s a personal preference and have no bearing on the art and layout of the book!
I love all the BOH books. Paper quality is heavy and the pictures are just perfect for the theme of the books. The books do have a story and themed as such. You can use almost any medium for the books, even markers if you use them carefully. If you like something more Halloween themed or just like something different you will love this book and will not be disappointed with your purchase for any of Alan Robert books. The picture attached is done with pencils and gel pens.
This book did not disappoint. I love all things horror and this series is perfect for me. I finished my first page a clown I named chuckles and it was a blast to color
This one is better then the last two he gets creeper with every new book and I can't wait to get the Christmas one! On the day before Halloween!
The pictures in this book are gorier than ever! The details are more intricate than ever and they are also more gruesome than ever. So glad I added this to my collection.
