For the most part, ARCADIA is a solid series based on a solid concept: Most of the world is dying of a disease, so a virtual reality world called "Arcadia" has been established to house their consciousness until a cure has been found. But what happens when the people on the outside world are thinking about shutting that world down to conserve power, and what does *that world itself* think about being shut off?The problem comes later in the book when the story begins hopping back and forth like mad between real and virtual worlds as the race to save "virtual humanity" heads to a conclusion. When you're hopping between worlds, the artwork really needs to show a strong differentiation between the worlds, and the art here doesn't. So although the book finishes satisfactorily, it's a struggle to comprehend the last couple issues, and you'll probably have to go back some pages to correct your understanding.
Arrived on time and in good condition. I really liked the plot. It is a very good science fiction graphic novel and I would recommend it to anyone looking for one. I enjoyed it even more on the second read.
